Sydney - will it see the light?

EARTH HOUR   : 60 minutes to show that it matters

 

Australia is not really seen as a country that is truly working for the environment. Only two countries didn't sign the Kyoto Protocol - unfortunately, Australia was one of the two!.

Maybe things are slowly changing. Here is an initiative being put forward to Sydneysiders - will they take up the challenge? We'll know next Saturday night!

In the meantime have a look at the website and see what it is they, the Sydneysiders, are being asked to do and why...

It's really sad that a country like australia did not sign the kyoto protocol like neither did the united states.
these countries continues to reject greenhouse gases in a big quantity and don't do anything to prevent globalwarming. Will their awareness in 2007 change about this issue?!
