Current music I like....
Whilst watching the movie, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", recently (Angelina Joli and Brad Pitt) I took a fancy to the theme music. After searching the credits this piece was called "Mondo Bongo" by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. It is a sort of Latin mix - it's my favourite music at the moment. The soundtrack to the movie is quiet good as well - especiall, Lay Lady Lay (on my big brass bed)... by Bob Dylan originally.
That made me search for my Bob Dylan CD - listen to some nostalgia! Then I found another CD I'd bought - "Woodstock" - really old stuff - takes me way back when...
Whilst I was searching for info on Joe Strummer I found a neat website, www.last.fm, you can search for music you like and find similar groups and vocalists and you can listen to it while you tap away at your keyboard - very interesting site. You do have to register, but it's free.
